“The Healthcare Group at Beltmann Integrated Logistics (BIL) was awarded new equipment logistics and activation services for a large tower project in the Houston market. The $700M project was to become the flagship for the health system and the client was looking for a method to overview and manage the new equipment inventory and building load process.
BIL collaborated with Freight Train to integrate the FitUp software into the project to give the owner the milestone visibility they were seeking. Freight Train staff worked with BIL operations management to integrate the software platform into the project workflows. The training and software deployment was accomplished two weeks before the project went live.
Freight Train and BIL commenced utilizing FitUp at the point of initial equipment receiving through final placement. FitUp was able to give the client ongoing dashboard metrics throughout this sizable project and process.
The end result was a on time, on budget project with a well informed client project team.
