Our team has been involved in a number of healthcare construction projects and we understand firsthand how challenging it can be to complete a new facility on time and within budget. We understand the obstacles our clients face in the field and in response to that we created FitUp, a solution that improves efficiency and transparency for our clients’ activation projects. FitUp was built to give Owners, Consultants, and project members the ability to leverage technology and data in order to reduce project risk and streamline procurement activities.

Tom Gaunt
CEO
Tom plays a pivotal role in supporting the FreightTrain team as they work tirelessly to achieve outstanding results for our valued clients. Prior to joining FreightTrain, he served as the President of Allen Interactions, where he focused on innovative e-learning solutions, and led global sales efforts for Rogue Wave Software. Tom loves live music, water skiing, wake surfing and tennis.

Diana Silva, MBA
Vice President, Operations
Diana Silva is a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in Software Implementation and Building Activation. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Customer Success, she brings her wealth of experience to drive excellence and customer satisfaction. With her expertise, Diana is dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions and ensuring clients' success.

Michell Barrett
Director, Product Design & Development
Michell is a passionate product leader with over ten years of experience in the tech industry. She is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success developing and launching innovative products at FreightTrain. Michell strongly advocates for the customer and is committed to creating products that solve real problems.

Vincent Han
Director, Engineering
In his role as Director of Engineering, Vincent oversees FitUp’s architecture and works directly with our development team throughout the implementation process. Vincent is responsible for the security of all FreightTrain products and systems. Prior to this, Vince worked as a Senior Application Developer and Analyst at Nike Inc. He also worked at the Vertex Group where he built Business-to-Consumer systems.

Scott Jennings
Vice President, Sales
Scott has over 20 years of experience in sales and over 13 years in healthcare. He is passionate about helping hospitals and their teaming partner find the most effective solutions to their challenges. Scott brings hands-on experience in supporting project teams to deliver sourcing support, initial outfitting, transition, and activation services.

Stephen Obregon
Account Executive
With years of software sales experience, Stephen joined FreightTrain, intending to expand the business, build relationships, and, most importantly, solve problems! He enjoys sports, including his favorite football team, the Miami Dolphins, and his favorite basketball team, the New York Knicks. He is passionate about fostering relationships and enjoys a good book or two on the weekends.

Craig Grant is a Veteran SDR across IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Cybersecurity software’s. He has half a decade of experience in building and leading teams of Sales Development Representatives. Role Overview
FreightTrain is hiring an Account Executive to own and grow our California territory. This role is ideal for a driven SaaS seller who thrives on building pipeline, closing new logo accounts, and selling a differentiated solution into a complex, relationship-driven market.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through discovery, solution selling, negotiation, and close. Success in this role requires curiosity, discipline, and the ability to articulate clear business value to owners, developers, and construction stakeholders.
Your primary objective: acquire and expand new logo customers while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the California territory, building a strong and repeatable pipeline
- Proactively prospect target accounts using a structured outbound strategy
- Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and uncover business drivers and pain points
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and value-based presentations
- Execute a consultative, solution-based sales approach aligned with FreightTrain’s methodology
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, including pricing, negotiation, and close
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in HubSpot
- Provide regular updates and reports to sales leadership on pipeline health and deal progress
- Develop strong customer relationships to generate repeat business, referrals, and references
- Stay current on market trends and competitive alternatives to clearly position FreightTrain’s value
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of successful B2B software sales experience (SaaS preferred)
- Demonstrated success carrying a quota in an inside and/or field sales model
- Experience selling using a consultative or solution-selling methodology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, video)
- Proven ability to manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal progression
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Ability to build trust and credibility with senior-level stakeholders
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
Nice to Have
- Experience selling into healthcare, construction, real estate, infrastructure, or owner/operator environments
- Territory ownership experience in California

Role Description
We are seeking an Account Executive for a full-time, remote position in California. In this role, the Account Executive will manage client accounts, serve as a key contact for customer relationships, and work proactively to achieve sales targets. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, conducting presentations and product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and account growth. The Account Executive will also be responsible for staying informed about industry trends and ensuring consistent client engagement. This role is perfect for a SaaS sales professional who enjoys owning a territory, building pipeline, and closing new logo accounts by selling real value.
What you’ll do:
✔ Own the California territory from prospecting through close
✔ Run targeted outbound campaigns
✔ Lead discovery calls, demos, and solution-based conversations
✔ Manage pipeline, forecasts, and deals in HubSpot
✔ Build long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B software sales experience
- Proven quota attainment and pipeline management

- Strong skills in presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal preparation
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

- Prior experience in managing accounts or sales in technology, healthcare, or related industries is a plus
